ERIN’s Projects

The Erin Projects include:

  • Four granted exploration licences for gold and nickel.

Erin’s development plan for the Nigerian projects is based on building upon the existing infrastructure and broad local knowledge base, combined with Erin’s strong board and technical knowledge, to identify potentially large deposits for the lowest capital cost as quickly as possible. This strategy aims to provide investors in Erin with direct exposure to the vast possibilities that exist in Nigeria within the next five years.

The short term strategy is to peg as much prospective greenfields exploration ground as possible, and to acquire some brownfields projects through negotiations with local companies.  Commodities of interest include gold, nickel, diamonds, tin, copper, lead, zinc, molybdenum, uranium and iron.  These projects will be assessed in line with international standards as quickly as possible to determine the potential to host “elephant-size” ore bodies.  The medium to long term strategy is to build a portfolio of projects which will deliver sustainable mineral development to Nigeria and sustainable profits to Erin shareholders.
